2018 NGPA Diversity & Inclusion Summit
The NGPA is pleased to announce our 2018 Diversity and Inclusion in Aviation Summit, which will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, February 7 and 8, 2018 in sunny Palm Springs, Calif.
In August 2017, the NGPA hosted its first Diversity and Inclusion Summit which was focused on FAR Part 121 airlines, and as such 21 airlines and three pilot unions participated in this well-received day of diversity and inclusiveness training. In fact, it was so successful that we had multiple requests to repeat it and expand on its content! This groundbreaking event laid the foundation for a broader, industry-wide effort lead by the NGPA to end homophobia and transphobia in aviation.
The 2018 Diversity and Inclusion in Aviation Summit is a comprehensive two-day event with workshops, presentations, keynote speakers, and more. Plan to attend this event to participate in the NGPA's effort to move the needle towards ending homophobia and transphobia in aviation. We invite leaders of flight operations at airlines, corporate aviation operations, fixed based operators (FBOs), flight schools and aviation universities, FAA Flight Standards District Offices (FSDOs), FAA aeromedical examiners (AMEs), representatives from pilot unions, and anyone with an interest in aviation safety.
Please note that space is limited. Based on the interest we've received so far, we expect registration for the event to fill up quickly, so we recommend that attendees register as soon as possible.
The cost to attend is $75 per attendee for the two-day event. Lunch and refreshments for both days is included.
Registration is not intended for NGPA members at large. This is an industry event designed for airline flight operations leadership, human resources team members, airline/union professional standards representatives, and other aviation leadership teams.
