Each year the NGPA hosts the NGPA Industry Expo, which is the second-largest pilot recruiting and aviation networking event in the U.S. The event features keynote speakers, hundreds of ATP-qualified active airline pilots seeking employment, aviation products and services, and educational seminars for both commercial, business/corporate, and general aviation pilots.


Airline Meet & Greets

During Industry Expo registration, you will have the opportunity to sign up for meet & greet sessions with United Airlines, American Airlines, and Delta Air Lines aviation recruitment teams. 

(Other airlines exhibitors will be conducting meet-n-greets at their respective booths at the Industry Expo. Those meetings will not require pre-registration)

United Airlines

As presenting Titanium sponsor, United Airlines is proud to welcome you to the NGPA Winter Warm-up and Industry Expo!  For each of our scheduled briefings, company leaders will spend 30-45 minutes talking about our plans for the future and answering your questions.  Our recruiters will spend the remainder of the time visiting one-on-one with those in attendance who have applied to become a United Airlines pilot.  For those who don’t quite meet our minimum qualifications, representatives from our Aviate program will be available to talk to you about the most direct path to a United flight deck.  We need a lot of great pilots to help United lead the way and we look forward to speaking with you about the growth and opportunity that only United can offer.

American Airlines

To make sure you are best prepared for meeting Delta’s recruiters make sure you have an updated resume and your application in AirlineApps is up to date. Need help making sure your Application in AirlineApps is ready? Review the below steps:

  • Address History – Make sure you have a full 10-year address history with no gaps.
  • Education / Professional Development – Make sure all fields are filled out its entirety. Note, you must include all flight training.
  • Background – Include all driving violations and any / all convictions of crime involving a felony, misdemeanor, infraction, or violation of any law.
  • Work History – Make sure your work history is filled out in its entirety, starting at High School. Any gaps greater than 30 days in employment need to be explained.
  • Achievements and Involvements – Include any achievements and involvements, especially those related to aviation.
  • Training Failures – Be sure to include any failed checkrides or an unsat on ANY phase/stage check, proficiency check or line check – civilian or military.
  • FAA Written Tests and Actions - Make sure you have the ATP date listed and any accidents, incidents, or violations
  • Flight Time – Ensure all flight time / training by aircraft flown is listed
