University & Flight Schools Vice-Chair
Position Objective & Purpose
The University & Flight Schools Vice-Chair is responsible for assisting in the oversight of NGPA’s flight schools and University chapters. This role ensures smooth operations and consistent support across all chapters. The Vice-Chair supports students and chapter leadership, helping them be as successful as possible while also serving as a direct contact for questions and issues related to NGPA.
Key Roles & Responsibilities

Assist students with NGPA-related issues or direct them to the proper person in a timely manner.

Advise operational leadership and offer feedback on how to better support the chapters.

Organize and submit merchandise & supply orders, ensuring chapters have the resources they need.

Update chapter balances monthly and provide resources for donations.

Maintain and update chapter contact and mailing information to ensure accurate communication.

Ensure each chapter uses its specific logo and that branding aligns with NGPA guidelines.

Oversee social media compliance with NGPA's guidelines across all university chapters.

Co-host the annual summer meeting with the Chair, addressing chapter updates and operational needs.

Create templates to assist chapters in becoming more efficient and successful.

Advise new chapters on how to start a chapter, including nonprofit regulations.

Work in coordination with the NGPA Operations Team and Chair to implement ideas and actions.

Provide ideas to help chapters maintain engagement throughout the year.

Offer guidance and support on student participation and funding to attend NGPA’s annual Winter Warm-Up in Palm Springs, CA.
Position Expectations

Current member of NGPA
-
Preferably a student or someone that is freshly out of school to better relate to the students.

Ability to commit 1-4 hours a week depending on current activities occurring within the organization.

Ability to learn AirTable (training Provided)

Experience with Excel

Ability to attend monthly NGPA Operations Calls and write committee reports for the meeting
