We are a home for LGBTQ people with a love for aviation; we are a vehicle that connects those with shared passions. We invite you to join our family and connect with people from many different backgrounds, all of whom have found a shared home at NGPA.
The fastest growing demographic within the NGPA is active, reserve, and veteran members of the military. Through challenges such as Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and discrimination against transgender soldiers, they have persevered in fighting for our freedoms while many sought to take theirs away. It is with great pride that the NGPA honors and supports our LGBTQ soldiers who answer the call to play the important role of defending our freedom and democracy.

According to a RAND Corp. study cited by the Los Angeles Times, there are between 1,320 and 6,630 transgender troops currently in uniform.
Over 13,000 servicemen and women were discharged for being gay under the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy. The repeal has prompted many to re-enlist, and has promoted the expansion of equality and inclusion in enlisted ranks worldwide.
