Ryan Antoon is a career instructor pilot, trained aircraft accident investigator, and Los Angeles County Aviation Commissioner. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he grew up flying, and attended The Ohio State University. He founded Antoon Corporation, an aviation consulting firm focused on aviation safety, pilot training, and aircraft management.
Ryan holds CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP, and Dispatcher certificates and has flown more than 50 different aircraft types. He is also a Platinum Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot with over a decade of experience flying Cirrus Aircraft.
With thousands of hours of solo, cross country and ferry flying—in everything from Cirrus aircraft to seaplanes, helicopters, and gliders—he offers a unique perspective on conducting such missions as safely, efficiently, and enjoyably as possible.
