Envoy Air Increases NGPA Sponsorship to Diamond Elite Level

St. Louis Park, MN, January 7, 2020 – The National Gay Pilots Association (NGPA) is pleased to recognize the increased level of support from Envoy Air Inc. Envoy joined NGPA’s Diamond Elite sponsorship level on January 1, 2020. Envoy joins three other Diamond Elite supporters of NGPA’s mission.

Envoy is the largest wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group, operating more than 185 aircraft on 1,000 daily flights to over 150 destinations. The company’s more than 18,000 employees provide regional flight service to American Airlines under the American Eagle brand and livery and ground handling services for many American flights.

“At Envoy, we respect and appreciate each person as a unique individual, and we value the great diversity this produces on our team. Our diversity gives rise to a wide range of viewpoints and new ways of thinking that contribute so much to our ongoing success as a company,” said Martin Rottler, Envoy Manager of Partnerships and Outreach and NGPA Board Member.

“Our regional carriers continue to be an important component of NGPA’s corporate sponsor network,” said NGPA President David Pettet. “We’re thrilled that Envoy has joined our highest level and increased its support for scholarship and university and flight school chapter efforts.” Pettet concluded.

Envoy will be sponsoring the NGPA “Pearl Twirl” celebration of NGPA’s 30th Anniversary on Saturday February 8, 2020 in Palm Springs, CA.
