4-Year Student Membership

The NGPA 4-Year Student Membership is a new option designed specifically for students who want to stay connected to the NGPA community throughout their training.

For a one-time payment of $75, you’ll receive four consecutive years of NGPA student membership—essentially a “buy three years, get one free” plan compared to our standard $25/year student rate. 

Who Is Eligible?

To qualify for the 4-Year Student Membership, you must: 

    • Be up to 24 years of age at time of registration, and

    • Be enrolled full-time in one of the following:

      • Trade school

      • Community college

      • University

      • Flight school

      • Other applicable aviation or related learning institution

  • You’ll be asked to provide proof of enrollment and age (such as a student ID, current class schedule, or official enrollment verification) during sign-up.

What You Get as a 4-Year Student Member

Your 4-year student membership includes all standard NGPA student benefits for the duration of your plan, such as:

    • Access to NGPA chapters and local meetups

    • Eligibility for scholarship application as an NGPA member

    • Mentorship and networking opportunities with aviation professionals through the NGPA ASCEND Program

    • Discount registration to NGPA events like the Student Summit and Winter Warm-Up and Industry Expo

    • Access to member-only communications, resources, and discounts, such as Medical Resources and the NGPA AME Directory 

    • Opportunities to get involved in leadership roles, volunteering, and advocacy

How the 4-Year Plan Works

  1. Sign Up Once

    Choose the 4-Year Student Membership option and pay the one-time $75 due

  2. Verify Eligibility

    Upload or provide your proof of:

    • Full-time student status at an eligible institution.

  1. Enjoy 4 Years of Membership 

  • Your membership will stay active for four consecutive years from the date of enrollment

  • When you complete your program, we’ll invite you to transition into an individual membership, so you can remain part of the NGPA community as your career grows.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What happens if I graduate before the 4 years are up?
A: Your student membership will remain active for the full 4-year term. When you graduate, we’ll encourage you to transition to an individual membership, but you will not lose your remaining time.

Q: Can I switch from the annual student membership to the 4-year plan later?
A: Yes, as long as you still meet the student eligibility criteria (age and full-time enrollment), you can opt into the 4-year plan going forward. The $75 fee covers four years from the date you enroll in the plan. However, you are not able to transition from an annual plan to a 4-year plan before your annual renewal occurs. 

Q: How do I provide proof of eligibility?
A: During sign-up, we’ll ask you to upload a document such as:

  • A current student ID

  • A class schedule

  • An enrollment verification letter

Q: What happens after my 4-year student membership ends?
A: When your 4-year term is nearing completion, we’ll reach out with information about upgrading to an individual membership so you can stay connected to NGPA.
