Dear Valued Members,
It is with a heart filled with gratitude and fond memories that I write to you today to announce my departure from my role as Marketing Co-Chair at NGPA. As I reflect on my time here, I am overwhelmed with pride for all that our incredible team has accomplished together.
During my tenure, we have achieved remarkable milestones and made significant strides in advancing our mission. I want to take a moment to highlight just a few of the many successes we have celebrated:
-
Successfully rebranded NGPA to "NGPA: The Worldwide LGBTQ+ Aviation Community," adding "Q+" across our social platforms, emails, and everywhere else, and finalizing our new handle on Instagram, transitioning from @ngpa2 to @wearengpa.
-
Led a successful social media contractor search that resulted in significant cost savings, improved conversion and engagement across social channels, and established a more collaborative partnership with measurable success benchmarks.
-
Spearheaded a comprehensive brand strategy overhaul that refreshed our brand appearance, established continuity across platforms, and reignited record growth in followership (+609 or 6.2% YTD) and engagement (+57.9% YTD).
These achievements are a testament to the dedication, talent, and collaborative spirit of our entire team. I have been truly honored to work alongside such passionate individuals who consistently go above and beyond.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Luke Schneider for believing in my abilities and enabling me to thrive in this role. His support and trust have been instrumental in my growth and success. I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to my counterpart, Devin Fry, for his unwavering support and for being a constantly dependable sounding board for ideas. Your partnership has been invaluable.
As I move on to the next chapter of my professional journey, I want to express my deep appreciation to each and every one of you. Your unwavering support, enthusiasm, and commitment to our shared goals have been the driving force behind our success. I am confident that the strong foundation we have built together will continue to propel NGPA to even greater heights.
While change can be bittersweet, I am excited for the future and the new opportunities that lie ahead, both for myself and for our organization. I have no doubt that the talented team at NGPA will continue to thrive and achieve remarkable things.
Thank you again for the privilege of serving as your Marketing Co-Chair. It has been an absolute pleasure working with all of you, and I will always cherish the memories and friendships made along the way.
With heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for a bright future,
Jacobi Wright
