Friend, welcome to the December 2023 issue of On The Fly!
 
Hello Friends,
As we enter final decent towards the end of the year, I’d like to reflect on the incredible milestones and achievements that have defined our community this past year.
First and foremost, congratulations to each one of you for being part of a record-breaking year for engagement, chapter events, and the highest scholarship award year in our history. Your dedication, passion, and commitment to uniting the LGBTQ+ aviation community has been the driving force behind these achievements.
 
 It has been quite a year for Local Chapters within NGPA. Over 110 events in 2023 were held across the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. This is 2.5 times the amount of events compared to 2022! None of these events would have been possible without our members participating and dedicated volunteers donating their valuable time!

In the heart of this month's theme—Celebrating our Chapter Volunteers—we extend our gratitude to the individuals shaping the essence of our NGPA chapters. Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization, infusing enthusiasm, expertise, and a shared love for aviation into everything they do. Our chapters exemplify the spirit of unity and support that defines the NGPA.
