Welcome to the September 2024 issue of On The Fly!

For over thirty years, NGPA has met in picturesque Provincetown for our annual Cape Cod Classic. This seaside tradition offers members a chance to escape and unwind with their friends and chosen family in a place that holds so much meaning for members of our community. I want to thank all the incredible volunteers for their tireless work putting on the event for more than 200 attendees. Whether planning for 200 or 2000, the Events Committee continues to deliver more than ever. I hope you will join me in thanking committee volunteers next time you see them... 

As NGPA continues to grow, we're constantly adding committees and roles that can better help to represent and engage the membership. This year, we are welcoming the General Aviation and Business Aviation committees, who will help community members interested in making connections, expanding their horizons, and connecting with each other on similar interests. 

Both committees already have a list of events that they are planning, and we hope that you take a look at their events and join us either in-person or virtually.

In addition to these two new committees, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference within the organization. We are currently accepting volunteer applications that suit all interests, from Transgender and Non-Binary Support, Women's Issues, Chapter Support, Events, Marketing, and many more!
