Hello everyone!

The NGPA Board of Directors recently convened for a three-day retreat in Atlanta, marking a pivotal moment in shaping the organization's future. With a strong focus on building the strategic plan for 2024-2029, the board members worked diligently to continue the NGPA's mission of pioneering efforts to build, support, and unite the worldwide LGBTQ+ aviation community.

The retreat's key objective was to outline a comprehensive roadmap to guide the NGPA's endeavors in the coming years. The board identified five critical focus areas: advocacy, membership, leadership, events, and finances (resources). By emphasizing these core aspects, the NGPA aims to strengthen its commitment to its members and promote inclusivity within the aviation community.

The following steps in the strategic planning process involve collaborating with the operations team to establish high-level goals within each focus area. Working hand in hand, the board and operations team will meticulously craft an action plan that aligns with the NGPA's overarching vision. The completion of this plan is anticipated to take place during the November board meeting, setting the stage for an exciting future of progress and advancement for the NGPA and the LGBTQ+ aviation community as a whole.
