Amelia McEwen joins the Transgender and Nonbinary Committee as the Events Organizer. She has planned and helped with multiple events for her local fighting game communities over the years. After joining the NGPA in November of 2024, she hopes to bring her knowledge of event planning to the broader aviation community. The importance of community has always been a focal point in her life and being able to work with the team to build that within her flight community is a dream come true. She has 5 years of aviation experience after starting her flight training in January 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee. As of June 2023, she is currently working as a MEI in the Pacific Northwest.
