NGPA is pleased to be teaming up with Flex Air to give our members even more opportunities to make their aviation dreams come true! 2020 has been a tough year and we are pleased to be adding 2 additional scholarships when our members need it most. Our partners at Flex Air will be providing a Private Pilot Scholarship and  a CFI or CFII Scholarship as part of this new opportunity!

Flex Air Private Pilot Scholarship

NGPA & Flex Air are pleased to offer a most deserving candidate a full training course to attain a Private Pilot Certificate. All ground instruction and aircraft instruction are included to attain this milestone certificate in one’s aviation dreams. Training will be completed at Flex Air’s facility in Manhattan, Kansas. Accommodations during training are also included in this scholarship. Costs associated with travel, meals and check ride designated examiner are at the recipient’s expense.

Application Requirements:
1. Current NGPA member
2. US Citizen
3. 3rd class medical certificate or greater
4. Must be available to begin training no later than June 1st, 2021

Flex Air Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Scholarship

NGPA & Flex Air are pleased to offer a most deserving candidate a full training course to attain their CFI or CFII certification. All ground instruction and aircraft instruction are included to attain one’s CFI or CFII. Training will be completed at Flex Air’s facility in Manhattan, Kansas. Accommodations during training are also included in this scholarship. Costs associated with travel, meals and your check ride designated examiner are at the recipient’s expense.

Application Requirements:
1. Current NGPA member
2. US Citizen
3. 3rd class medical certificate or greater
4. Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
5. Must be available to begin training no later than June 1st, 2021
