Hanna Fowler is a Q400 First Officer for Horizon Air. A third-generation airline pilot she found her passion for aviation at a young age while flying with her Mom and Dad in their C182. As she progressed through her ratings and became a flight instructor she noticed the distinct lack of female and LGBTQ pilots around her. This drove her to become involved with any organization that promoted flying to minority communities, especially kids and teens. She has worked in leadership roles with Women in Aviation International, The Aviation Explorers, The Ninety-Nines, and is excited to join the NGPA Women’s Committee to continue her outreach in the community. She is particularly interested in outreach that introduces aviation as a career option, and providing resources to assist people with the first steps. After all, even the most experienced person at anything had to start somewhere.
