Dear Friends---

We're off to a strong start to the spring, with exciting progress on several behind-the-scenes initiatives and our continued focus on member engagement.  

Our operating finances remain healthy, and we’ve just completed a significant milestone in upgrading parts of our fiscal infrastructure – a big step for the organization and an indicator of NGPA’s growth! We’re also making improvements to our IT systems to make it easier for volunteers to access resources and take full advantage of the tools available to them. 

On the engagement front, I'm excited to share that NGPA had a historic showing at WAI’s annual conference. Special welcome to the 20 new members who joined NGPA at the conference. The Women’s Committee hosted its largest social to date during WAI – congratulations to WC Chair Claudia B. for the huge success! Our Vertical Aviation Committee made its debut at VERTICON, bringing NGPA’s mission to the vertical aviation world – thank you Zac M. for helping us expand our network. Closer to home, chapters are busier than ever, with 58 local events already on the books this year. 

We're introducing a new Scholarship Selection Committee leadership team, designed to enhance support for applicants and evaluators alike and to ensure the long-term sustainability of the program. Congratulations to Chaminda Prelis on his appointment as Chair, and to Connor Henebry and Colin Brown as Vice Chairs. We will open applications for this year’s scholarship program on June 2nd.

As always, thank you to our volunteers, donors, and members for your unwavering support of the NGPA. Because of you, our organization continues to grow and reach more and more corners of the aviation community.
