Message from the Executive Director December 2025

Friends---

As we set the parking brake on another year, I find myself incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together. In a year that began with much uncertainty, we’ve continued to move NGPA’s mission forward in meaningful ways through our programs, events, and most importantly, the space we create for our community.

In moments where we face challenges, community isn’t just “nice to have..." it’s essential. Whether it be through mentorship, navigating the aeromedical process, lending resources, sharing support, and so many more ways, members continue to show up for each other no matter the circumstance. It’s been inspiring to witness from the Captain’s seat all the incredible ways our NGPA family has come together.

One of the highlights I’m especially proud of is the continued growth and impact of our scholarship program. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteer Scholarship Selection Committee, this year we were able to award a record-breaking $690k+ in scholarships! These awards break down more than financial barriers. They reinforce that our community belongs in aviation and that we, as a community, are invested in their success.

NGPA depends on an extraordinary group of volunteers to deliver its mission. From committee members and chapter leaders, scholarship evaluators, events team, mentors, and many others - you are the backbone of this organization. Your commitment, expertise, and passion fuel everything we do. Thank you for being there for your NGPA family, without hesitation, and with genuine care for each other.

Happy New Year, NGPA. May 2026 be guided by the same care and compassion our community has shown one another, and that we remain resolute against all challenges we face ahead.

With Pride,
Justin
