Volunteers have been the engine propelling NGPA since day one. What started as an idea among friends has grown into a supportive community, impacting members' lives through networking, mentorship, scholarship, and beyond. In many ways, volunteering is an honored tradition within our organization and is undoubtedly the “secret sauce” to how we can deliver on our mission. To all our volunteers – especially day one volunteers Brian & Tim – Thank You! NGPA’s success reflects the passion, dedication, and selflessness of our volunteers.

Looking forward to what we wish to accomplish in the future, it hinges on members' engagement and continued service to NGPA. If you’ve been thinking about getting involved but are not sure how or where… I encourage you to listen in our monthly Operations Call, the first Wednesday of each month. During those monthly calls, committee leaders and volunteers meet to discuss achievements from the previous month, talk about ongoing initiatives, as well as collaborate on future goals. For those like me who appreciate understanding the lay of the land before jumping in, consider it your springboard to joining our volunteer team.

Shaping the future for an inclusive and welcoming industry for our community begins with getting involved. Being part of the NGPA has been (and continues to be) unequivocally one of the most rewarding parts of my life.
