To all NGPA members celebrating graduation this season - Congratulations! We’re proud of your achievements and can’t wait to see how you shape the future of the industry. An extra special shoutout to those graduating as NGPA scholarship recipients... You represent the next generation of leaders, and I hope you’ll carry that support forward and continue opening doors for those who come after you. 

Speaking of scholarships, the Scholarship Selection Committee is gearing up for another impactful year, with the 2025 application opening June 2nd. We anticipate awarding over $300,000 in scholarships – with awards for flight training, flight & non-flight higher education, technical training, and more! Thank you to all donors who generously contribute to NGPA’s annual scholarship fund. In total, we’ve awarded over $2.5 million in scholarships!  

Events are also in full swing. Last month, we held our annual Trans and Non-Binary Social in Seattle - thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. Wings Over D.C. is coming up the first weekend in June, followed by EAA's AirVenture in July, then we’ll celebrate our 35th birthday in Provincetown, where we have some exciting new events planned. Registration for P’Town opens soon. Regardless of whether it’s a chapter event or a national event, I hope you will take time this summer to connect with fellow members. 

While you’re out networking with members, be sure to extend a welcome to our 65 new members who joined NGPA in April. So far this year we have welcomed over 600 new members! With so many new faces, I’m excited to share we are expanding the Operation’s Team staff and are accepting applications for a full-time Member Services Coordinator.
