As we enter the heart of summer, I hope you are finding time to spend with your friends and chosen family. Summer is a busy time of year for NGPA, not only filled with pride celebrations but also as we prepare for events, such as EAA Oshkosh and the Cape Cod Classic in Provincetown. We are excited to share with you a few updates from the Operations Team.

July 26th marks the 23rd anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and many communities around the country commemorate the passage by celebrating Disability Pride Month throughout July. This month gives us all an opportunity to celebrate people with disabilities, honor their inherent dignity and inalienable rights, promote their visibility, and applaud their achievements. At NGPA we are committed to acknowledging and supporting members living with or affected by a disability. Did you know that being a member of the NGPA means that you gain access to an array of mental and physical health benefits and services? 

The end of July marks one of the largest aviation events of the year: EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Join your community from July 24th-30th as we celebrate fun, sun, and friends old and new! NGPA is proud to host the annual Hangar BBQ on July 28th. We're also looking for last minute volunteers for a variety of events! Lend a hand and enjoy free admission to AirVenture for the day!
